Supply chain and Garage doors

It is officially 2022 and there seems to be no end in sight to the supply chain issues going on around the world. Unfortunately the garage door industry has been hit pretty hard. When ordering a new garage door, the wait used to be 1-2 weeks. Now we are seeing wait times  range from 15 weeks to 30 weeks. Our customers are frustrated, and we are too!

When the pandemic started there were a ton of employees around the world that were either laid off or stuck in quarantine, and manufacturing came to a stand still. With orders still coming in and nobody to manufacture the garage doors, long wait times were inevitable. Not only is the manufacturing process causing delays, but the shipping industry was hit the same way. Often times an order is ready to be shipped, with nobody to transport the order.
